well this has got to be the most moronic that questions get; but is there ANY way to look at ring and pinion and tell if it is 3.42 or 3.73 or what-the-eff-ever's? i recently read one of the moderator's topic about how he got screwed with thinking he bought 3.42's and them turning out to be 3.08's, and it scared me. thx in advance.

2) Shorter gears have larger rings.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
