    if i get an auto trany, will i have to get a new comp too? and how much truble is it to swap? 95 3.4 btw

    I have been wondering the same thing, I would guess that you would need a Computer that is programmed for an auto tranny. Then what do you do with the xtra peddle?

            Your best bet would be find someone on here who wants a 5 spd and swap them out.

              I'll take your 5-speed if straight up for my broken 5-speed?

              its doable, you will need a a computer out of a car, there was a guy that did an auto-manual swap I would look in the internet, I owuld assume its there are some kits around, to do it.

              Jsut curious why do you wnat ot do it?

                i am really curious but why do you all want to convert to Automatic... i thought having a manual is good! Because that's what i want... i just can't drive it... why don't u like manual tranny?

                  There are several reasons to go with an automatic instead of a manual. The two biggest reasons being durability and consistency. The Borg Warner T5 is like jello under heavy torque, and with there being NO aftermarket transmissions for the V6 F-body, there's nothing you can do but keep replacing your broken transmissions with another one that's just gonna break again (I'll probably be buying a 3rd for mine soon). An automatic transmission is always consistent. It doesn't matter how well or how quick you can change the gears in your manual, any automatic can always do it quicker and more consistently.

                      i dont see why any one would want to go from 5 speed to auto, but some people are not true racers, jk, well if any one has a 5 speed trany from a 3.8 i would like to make a deal

                        Wait, our trans. aren't any good? Aren't they World Class t-5's? The same kind that 5.0 Mustang guys can make live?
