people will suggest to replace your seals while the motor is out... it's one of those things like replacing your lifters while you already have the intakes off; better safe than sorry. they're a lot easier to get to now than they are with the drivetrain in the car, let's say.
unsure about the clutch thing; how many miles are on the original hardware?

You might as well have it built to handle the amount of Horsepower your engine will be producing otherwise you'll be doing it soon after the engine is running.
