  • basic, complete,or deluxe installation kit?

    i am not sure which gear installation kit to get.
    any ideas? (my car has 110k on it)
    basic -$20 pinion shims, pinion seal, crush sleeve, cover gasket
    complete -$95 basic+carrier bearing/shims, pinion bearings, pinion nut, ring gear bolts
    deluxe -$122 complete+wheel bearings and axles seals

    I would say deluxe. if you are in there. and you have to remove everything anyway, why not replace it now, instead of later and in pieces.

      yeah.. its not a ton of money.. and with your mileage its worth the extra hour of labor..
