has anybody used this light weight fly wheel at fttp for $359.10. if im not mistaken, that would gain a lot of performance, but wouldnt it be less street reliable or not even streetable at all?

thats not the major concern. I thought the way our engine was balenced was the reason why lightweight flywheels are not a good idea.Comment

Not to mention if you have a manual its VERY difficult to drive and youll stall out quite often.....but for racing its great :D---Comment

There is hardly any difference in the way you drive one, and it's not that much more difficult to drive. I've driven Volkswagens that had a 22lb flywheel lightened down to a 7lb, and I didnt have any problems driving it. The little 1.7 8v only had about 100 ft/lbs of torque and no electronic throttle. Half the people on here that diss lightened flywheels have never driven anything with one.

Not sure why you would stall out while driving one, but I guess its possible.
