• Warrany on Tranney...

When i purchased my car, I also got the Univeral Warranty. 24 month/24,000 mile.

Well i still have quite a bit of time/miles left on it...

my transmission/rear end has been acting up as of late and i want to know what EXACTLY do they cover.

    the papers says:

Transmission: transmission case - all internal mechanical parts, housings - compresser and turbine, vanes, shaft, drive shaft, locking rings, gears and bearings, hub and bearings, and self adjusters, seals and gaskets.

Rear-Wheel DriveDrive and axel housing - all internal mechanical parts - case and bearings, ring & pinion, spider gears, drive shafts, propeller shafts, axle shafts, rear wheel bearings, universal joints, seals and gaskets

now say, my tranny/rear end is just been abused....is there ANYTHING the dealership/warranty company can say or do to stop it from getting fixed for free?

It's impossible to say how to the trans died without taking it completely apart. If you didn't do any neutral drops, you should be fine. Just keep that shifter in D or OD.

      thing is...i DID do a "few" N-drops

not deliberatley...like i'd put it in N to rev @ someone....then put it back into D and hit the gas too soon =(

It's just not shifting right, it seems to skip.

I just wanted to know if the dealership/warranty company could screw me over.

They wouldn't be screwing you over if you did do neutral drops.

Those really kill an auto. Just cross your fingers and hope they don't notice.

          how could they notice?

like, what are the signs of a neutral drop when they look @ the tranny?
