      M6 = 6-speed manual transmission
      A4 = 4-speed automatic transmission
      M5 = 5-speed manual transmission

      since i have a 5-gear manual transmission, i have a M5.

      PS V6's only come with A4s or M5s, all 98+ (LS1 V8s) A4 or M6 only

          Also, manual 6 speeds are only on V-8's.

          Manual 5 speeds are only in V6

          Automatic 4 speeds are on V6 and 8

              Not true.

              If memory serves me correct, you can get an M5 in a Formula. At least you use to be able to.

                That was back in the day. Now you can only get 6 speed manuals in the V8's.

                By the way, I'd rather have a BMW M5 ;)
