I can't down shift into second it just won't go into gear. I can shift from first to second and second to third fine. Anybody got any ideas? Or (gulp) do I have to rebuild my tranny?

could be synchros...
when my syncros went south my car would downshift into gear and when i would let off the clutch it would kick out of gear, id get that checked on as it does seem to cause problems with other gears if not taken care of(or it did in my case)R.I.P \'99 Firebird, you will be missed<p>New toy - 2001 GSXR-750, Yoshimura Exhaust, Power Commander, Rebuilt AirboxComment

took it to the dealer, it was under warranty, so it cost me nothing especially since it was their messup on why they went out in the first place(long story short they screwed my car up 3 times)
