How many RPM's...(M5 question)

...are you spinning at 75 mph in your M5? I'm at 2400 rpm's at 75 mph. I'm just curious is all. I am pretty sure I have the stock 3.23's..but I bought the car with 73,XXX miles on it so I just want to be sure.

Also, I have switched to a different tire size, I now have 245 50R 16's on all 4 corners..would the change from the stock tire size to these tires make a difference in the mph my speedometer is showing? BTW what is the stock tire size for these cars?

stock tire size depends on your wheel option

with 235/55/16: 26.17
with the small one (i think it's 215/60/16?): 26.15
with 245/50/16: 25.64
with 275/40/17: 25.66

so... your speedo would be about 2% off across the entire range by going to the 50 aspect ratio. considering how f'ed up speedos are anyway i wouldn't worry about it

3200 RPM's in 4th
2300 RPM's in 5th

3.23 rear, 275/40/17 tires.
