Wll i broke my 2 peice drive shaft right at the bearing that connect to the car. My question is the price for a one peice steel shaft and the two piece are the same from www.tacreationsuse.com
i was wondering is the once peice lighter and stonger and if so will i notice any gains in the 1/4.

get the 1LE aluminum one from GMPartsDirect. it's 212 and in the mods database. the 1 pc. steel DS's tend to vibrate bad around 110 or so and over time can mess up the drivetrain. I have a 1 pc. steel in my car right now, and plan on upgrading to the aluminum one.

Yes, the one piece is an improvement. A little lighter, and stronger. A lot of people take out a perfectly fine 2-piece and put in the 1-piece.

i have the 2pc in my car now, and my buddy is putting an aluminum one in his Z, so im takin his steel one piece for strength, less vibration from my trans mount, and to save about 10 lbs.
