I replaced the bearings when mine went in... it's just a good idea i think.

i have an lsd sitting at home that i am going to be installing pretty soon. how do you replace the bearings, and where do you get the new ones, etc, cause i want to make sure to do this right. thanks. (sorry, not trying to hijack your thread)
I pulled mine out of a WS6, same thing. It only had 2K miles on it, I didn't have a shop press at home OR new bearings, so I just used the ones on it. I've put at least another 10K miles on it, raced hard on it, no trouble at all.
I just used what came on it, but I feel that the replace the bearings speech is given to EVERYBODY who orders. Might be liability or something for them.

I looked them over real good and they seemed fine, so I just used what was on there. No problems with it.
