Just a side note - I made the mistake of taking my car to the track with my 3.08 open rear + street tires after I had installed my edge 2800 stall converter.
I actually ran worse times than I did with the stock converter, 15.8 was the best I could do. I was pulling horrible 60 ft times because I simply could not get traction.
