Sorry, I know this topic has been beat to death, but I couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for with a search.
Is the DS in the 2002 any different than what has been previously discussed? Is it one piece, two piece? Will the Aluminum DS off of Gmpartsdirect that has been mentioned fit? When I do a search on there, it comes up empty.

The autos have a single, manuals a two-piece for that year. The 1LE aluminum DS will fit any year 3800.

As far as driveshafts go, would the 1LE be the best for the buck?
I don't want to spend a lot of money on something like a carbon fiber DS, so thats out of the question.
