Putting the 3.73 gear in my car was by far the best mod I have ever done. Dont worry about fuel economy, suprisingly, it does not change very much at all. It will help your car incredibly off the line, but it has drawbacks. AT low rpms in 3rd and 4th gear, the car barely has the balls to turn the gear, but above 3 and 4 grand, and you have an absolute animal for a v-6. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed. And your gas mileage will suffer the most during city driving because you rpm much faster. Not on the highway. I drove my camaro to myrtle beach last summer, and got over 420 miles per tank. Not bad, and that was with several romps at over 100, with 2 passengers. Believe it. Your only at like 28 or 2900 at 80 mph. NOt much of a diff. Got the money to do it, then do it. If your worried about fuel economy, then definetly get the cold air to go with it.

Yeah with 5th on the manuals..highway speeds dont change drastically. I still turn ~2,400 rmps give or take at 70mph.
