Hope this is the right spot, if not sorry. I order a Perma Cool 16-18000 GVW trans cooler and a transgo shift kit from texas-speed last night. I'm wondering were I can install the trans cooler. I'm guessing it suppose to be some where in the front, the thing is I have the FFF turbo kit. Any idea where I can put it?

it doesnt have to be that long, just something to get air up in the cooler

well, if you have ram-air from underneath, you wont have to worry about it because you wont be stupid enough to go in water high enough to because a problem because you would get water in your engine too.

a front mount intercooler would free up room to put a trans/oil cooler infront of the radiatorBen

1995 White/Black 3.4L
As far away from stock as possible
My Site!!!
RedLineV6
Rebuild and 3.4 T70 Turbo is complete
Details to come....

Its a transmission cooler....water will not hurt it....no air is being sucked in and there are no possible ways for water to get it...cause then tranny fluid would be leaking out.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

check out the transmission forum on www.ls1tech.com and search for 'dope style' mounting. one of their members mounted the cooler in the front clip in front of the passenger's wheel.
i bent the brackets into an L-shape and mounted the cooler to the bolts that hold the air dam. the cooler sits level much like an intercooler. if you are getting an intercooler though you are not likely to have the space for this.
