  • New torque converter for our cars

Does any one has this? If not, is it a good upgrade for a 98 3.8L A4 Y87?
    ( V6 Torque converter. $265 "2400-2800" stall )

    Thanks in advance.

are you refering to that one. I have a feeling thats what is in my car but i can acutally stall to 2800. Compared to my friends Firebird I can smoke him on any launch, onyl thing you'll also have to think about is traction becasue you'll be lighting the tires up rather easily. If your serious on getting a torque converter some members on the board can recommend brand names ones, becasue I don't know too much about others

I called SLP and they told me that their TC were for V8 applications, and that it did not apply to my vehicle but thanks any way. I was just being curious because I'll be putting in some 3.73's and ZZP GT cam after the holidays and see every one recomendind high stall after the swap I have in mind. But hey thanks again.
