  • Do i need to rig a switch on my converter for the dyno?

A couple local friends said i need some sort of switch so that i can flip it and it makes the converter not lock up, what will happen on the dyno if i dont do this and i just leave the converter lock up like its supposed to?

You are making more power with it locked than when its slipping.... They probably meant a switch to LOCK it.

If you don't want it to lock, just puck down on the brake soft enough for the lights to come on and not for them to actually engage.

Instructions on what? "Moving to drivetrain"
That just means that the thread has been relocated to a place where it will get the propper attention.

If you meant directions for the switch, since nobody answered, that doesn't mean that people here don't want to help, it means that nobody that has checked this thread out knows the exact answer.

If that's not what you're talking about, I sugguest you follow SkAchilles directions to engage the torque convertor lockup.

And if none of this helps, then I'm sorry.
