hey, i just bought 3.42s and zexel posi from a 98 firebird, Will there be a problem getting the posi to fit my 96 camaro? And should i replace any other compents such as axle shafts?

it will fit. all components which will need replacing will come in an install kit which the shop should be able to supply you with. -
I have an 02 WS6 rear in my 96 :D
It will work just fine. Nedd a new ABS relictor ring for sure, other than that I just used the bearings and everything that came with it.Comment

I have a 01 WS6 rear in my 94...came w/ 3.73's ;)

All gears/posis for fourth gens are interchangeable as long as you use the correct differential.
3.08 and lower gears - 2 series differential
3.23 and higher gears - 3 series differential
