I have a 3.8L 1996 A4 and when its in second gear under WOT the rpms rev up and it feels as if the trany is sliping it does this in third as well. My question is am i going to have to have the bands replaced or am i going to have to get it rebuilt? I am going to run a 50 shot of nitrous in about two weeks and i need to get this fixed. also does anybody know how must either would cost for a shop to do this?
