  • Driveshafts the same for V8 and V6?

Is the driveshaft from a V8 (one piece) going to fit right into my V6 thats the two-piece clunker that weighs a boatload?

Just need to know because my friends has an extra... (hopefully i can get it)

Yes, I got my one piece from a 2001 Z28. All I did was replace the U-joints (one was bit worn out) and bolt it in.

Well, they are not the same.
V8s has one piece driveshaft and V6 has two piece.
But V8 and V6 ones are interchangeble.

yea, well im gettin a one piece for nothin, and gettin rid of my shotty 2 piece, so ill be in the club soon too.

hopefully it cuts down on RPM vibrations too, cause after i put my trans mount in, i think my front half-shaft is not level anymore, and i get some vibration from it.

im prayin the 1pc. takes care of it.
