97firebird, i love it when people try to flame me. You said i can waste my money as i want, thats what kids are for. Well idiot, I said i wound up paying $450 for the conversion...id LOVE for you to find a way for me to trade my car in and get the EXACT same car and year with all the options for just $450 more...yes...im the idiot...and as for the supercharger, an auto to manual is a walk in the park, no one said it couldnt be done, its done all the time. The eaton 90 blower has been proven that its NOT a walk in the park. so, suck em. [img]smile.gif[/img] and i said i wished the guy the best of luck, and id do it if he wound up being able to, however, he will spend more than converting the procharger to work.


and too all thoes that are pleased with this post, id like to say thanks, you guys are my motivation, I have the new cross member as im typing this, so i should be ready to go today. I'm heading over to the shop now to install it and do thoes tiny little finishing touches that annoy the heck out of ya. I'll hopefully post pics later today.

yep it is doable, jsut not easily and not the way my dad would be up for it. Its illegal in the State of Florida to do it. So you sort of have to do it in a Cash only non receipt way. And my dad is not exactly the type to cut holes in the roof of a car that has less then 35k on it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

really? what makes it illegal? i had no idea that putting t-tops on a car would be illegal. Its not that i dont believe you, cause i do, i just find it amazing what they wont let you do to your car. The will let you have a v-10 with twin turbos on it (the hennasy viper (i dont know the spelling of it)) but they wont let you put a factory option on your car. wow. go florida. However, i do know there are places that would do it for cash, if you need the names of a few speed shops i know that will do stuff under the table, let me know.
