  • Eaton vs. Auburn posi units...

    Any opinions or experiences with the two? Which one is better, more dependable, stronger, etc.?

    Side note - I am not looking for suggestions to get a T/O differential from SLP or anything like that....just comparisons of the two differentials listed above.

    It is my firm belief that the newer Eaton differential is a far stronger unit than the Auburn. Its more easily rebuilt and spec for spec its heavier duty in many ways. The torque biasing of most eaton posi's outclass anything auburn makes. Either drag racing or autoX, I like the eaton quite a bit.

    The only other differential I have a lot of faith in is the Torsen T2-R that strano sells.
