The best thing for us is the CenterForce Dual Friction clutch. I have one and a few other members have them. I can't say anything bad about this thing! well... I take that back... I can't keep my tires planted on the ground now with a high RPM launch :D
I personally can't and will NOT do a clutch install..... something about them that never goes in right. So, I would suggest having someone do it for you.

Will it be alot snappyier then the stock one? I also think my clutch was sorta worn since day one.. so ill prolly feel a huge difference, (i could never chrip my tires 1st-> 2nd.. :( )
I did the centerforce dual friction clutch. I bought it from jegs and yes the price was killer. I also bought a slave cylinder just for the hell of it. I drive a 3.8 so I dont know if there is a whole lot of difference. I did the entire install my self as did camaro_zach if I am not mistaken. Its not really that bad. I would recomend doing it yourself as you will be dropping mad cash on the clutch.

i think the throw out bearing is like 22-40$ , ill get that aswhell, but if im gunna do it myself, dont i need a lift? or cna it be done with just the car on blocks?
OH... and while the trans is out... have them check the rear main seal. It's like a $20-30 part, but well worth it while the tranny is out. So you don't have to worry about it later on.

Unless you like to benchpress tranny's and swear all the time... I would let the pros do it :D
Plus, this about if this is your only means of transport. IF something goes wrong... you don't want to be without it too long. This is why pros get paid... for mistakes and to fix them.
OH... again... don't forget to have the flywheel resurfaced. This is a MUST!

Come on steve! ;) the clutch install isn't the monster that everyone makes it out to be. Our trannies are very light too, I thought it was gonna be like lead but its quite managable. my first time took me 3 hrs to do so a pro with lift and air tools should at least do 2 hrs. good luck
ok i just got my clutch put in yesterday...mine was slipping...The labor was 180 including the flywheel resurfacing...30 bux...i got a zoom power torque street/strip clutch kit...cost me 500 bux pilor bearin, tob, disc and pressure plate plus free lifetime replacement....i thought that was pretty good..plus i got it from a store and didn't have to wait for shipping...but now i have wheel hop so bad i can engage normal and punch it :-( oh well now time for some suspension mods....oh yeah btw, i wanna drive it all the time now cause it's a super upgrade! total improvement :D
