Ok now with my cam and everything else i want to be able to chirp second on dry pavement, would a transgo stage 2 and a corvette servo do this? I worried about the stage 3 fully manule because in my head i would push the shifter to hard and instead of going into 2 i would go into 3 or 4th gear right? or its their something that stops you from doing that? thanks guys.

with the mods you have listed and a stage 2 transgo kit i'd say you have a fair chance of a 2'nd gear hit depending on rims/tires you're running big inch rims with sticky tires i'd say no but stockies almost for sure

and for the full manual valvebody you would want to get a hurst or b&m racheting shifter that prevents overshifting and it's a pain in the *** on a daily driver to shift all the time

Stage 3 is not fully manual. It just adds to the firmness of the shift. For manual shifts you would have to replace the valve body.

i thought the upgrade to the stage 3 was a stage 2 with a manuel valve body.

so you have to buy the manuel vavle body seperatly?

There is a -3 full manual setup for the 4L60E, it comes with the vacuum modulator. In your case adding of spacers to the accumulator, will firm up the 1-2 shift. Depending on what torque converter you have, and what rear end gear ratio you have, will partly determine how many spacers you add. You want smooth part throttle shifts, with the shifts getting firmer with more throttle. To firm of a part throttle 1-2 shift is irritating, hard on the transmission, and dangerous in the rain. When you get ready to install this kit, let me know as I can give you the spacer plate feed hole sizes that work best for your particular combination. Do you still have the torque management?, or is it disabled? Trans-Go setup the late Shift kits to work with the torque management, and the results have been lacking, as far as attaining maximum capacity and shift firmness at WOT. Once the torque management has been disabled, you can go back to the earlier Performance Shift kit modifications. These earlier kits have worked very well for all the units I build. I hope this helps.

so why are you wasting mod money on the v-6 if your getting a Z28 in the summer...save that money and spend it on the Z...
