Not all the time. On ice, for example, only 1 wheel will spin. THe trick is to apply light brake pressure to give it some resistance.

alright let me try aking another question, mabe i will get an answer. Since i am getting 3.42's and a lsd, i know i have to get reprogrammed or whatever. if i find a 00' pcm with the y87 package on it, will it be as simple as unplugging the old one and putting in the new one, or will that work. in other words i am asking what are the differences in changing from a 99 pcm to a 00' pcm?

Sorry to answer so late, but I just put the speedometer recalibrator on my car from intense racing. It works just fine... the hard part is finding what wire to cut into from the PCM because the instructions that come with it aren't for our cars.
If you can find that wire its a simple install after that and works perfect.
