  • Pilot bearing.

    Any will do right? as long as its for my car.. cause advacned auto has 4 of them, from light duty, to heavy duty..


    i think ill just get the normal one..

    Yeah, as long as it's for your car, it will work fine. You might as well get the heavy duty one though... it wouldn't hurt. [img]smile.gif[/img]

      didnt end up replacing it anywho, inspected it closly and it seems to be in perfect shape (literally)

      plus it wasnt comming out hehe

        Getting it out is kinda weird. It's not hard, just different. You either have to have a special tool, or use some grease. The alternate way is more fun, anyway. [img]smile.gif[/img] Just fill the hole in the middle with grease. There's an empty area behind the bushing that needs to be filled as well, so make sure you put enough in there. Then take a rod or something that is very similar in size to the input shaft. Put it in the hole in the pilot bushing, then hit it with a hammer. If there's enough grease behind it, the rod will force it outward, and push the pilot bushing out. [img]smile.gif[/img]
