  • M5 Fluid ?

Spring weather at last! i'm doing the Ripper shifter install today. i'm somewhat following the instruction from www.installuniversity.com. i see the fluid in the housing seemed really low just like what's on the site's picture:

but they never said to add more fluid in there. is this normal? if i need to add fluid, which one should i use? thanks.

No, that's normal. There doesn't need to be alot of fluid in there. The fluid is most important in the tranny case with the synchros and all that.
