well mine came stock with 3.42's read it on my sticker sheet that came with the car. But I tell u what I'll take a picture cuz I just thought it sounded about right. But I'm not 100% sure.
and btw both of us have 2002's I hope you actually have more faith in GM's tranny than that.

well I have the RPO codes: Y87, GU6, G80, and about 10 lines more (cars is just about fully loaded).

I noticed Camarorulz's #s were higher as well but maybe that's because he has an aftermarket torque converter.

3.73 Strange Engineering gears

19 miles each way to work

ABOUT 275-300 miles per tank of gas

My speedo is off pretty bad, but an indicated 90mph is around 2500rpms. 80mph is around 2000rpms

I am going to put 4.11 gears in this month, but the 3.73 gears were a HUGE improvement over the 3.08s!

LD and Camarorulz either your tranny is slipping or you don't have 3.42s on the automatic but it should be like this...

60mph - around 2,000rpm
75mph - maybe...2,200rpm...don' go this speed but I do know:
82mph - 2,500rpm
93mph - 3,000rpm

well I took it out last night
60 mph is exactly 1900 rpms
75 mph is between 2300 and 2400 (2350?)
