I hear a lound thump every time i hit a bump. It sounds like its coming from under the shifer. I dont think it is my transmission be cause it shifts fine and it makes this noise even if i have it in neutral. Im either thinking it is the exhaust (which i just had installed recently) or my transmission mount. what do you guys think?

When I go over a speed bump at anything more than a creeping roll the bottom of my y-pipe hits it. In any f-body it's best to avoid bumps at all costs or at least go over them slowly and at an angle. What I really hate is going in or out of a sloped drive and scraping the air dam or sometimes the nose on the ground

Sounds like it could be a tranny mount in my opinion.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

I would think transmission mount. The best way to find out is to put a jack under the tranny and see if the mount moves around.2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6
