Car shifting sooner than it should

I think you might have 2 different things causing this:
1) You have 3.73s with 3.42 programming, this could cause it to shift a bit early
2) Our tachs are inaccurate, the car most likely is not shifting as early as you think it is.
Have you tried using your HPPIII to correct the problem? If it really is shifting too early, just increase the shift points. Do this at the track so you can see how your adjustments affect your 1/4 et's.

You moved your rev limiter up to 6500 RPM's? Thank your lucky stars the car still doesn't rev over 6000 RPM's or you'll be asking why there's a huge puddle of oil under the engine and your engine won't turn over any more!
Unless you have a new valve train setup that can support the higher 6k+ RPM stress, you will blow your engine if you rev past 6000 RPM's!
