When ever i accelerate hard there is a big jolt or basicly a catching and a sliping then catching again. When i first got the car it did not do this. I do accelerate some what hard off the line but i would like to know what this jolt is. The car will launch real hard for about 3ft then this jolt and power will stop for a sec then right back. Its killing my accleration. Is the Tranny sliping or is it a Mount?
If anything i think that it may be a tranny mount. Its got 200,000 Mi on the car and the tranny has never been touch.
I know that it is a 3rd gen but i have an 87 firebird, i just thought that some of you guys could help.
