ok, here i go. will a vette servo, trans go shift kit, vette accumulator, and new gears get me faster times? ever since i got my exhaust put on, it seems like off the line, im a slug. i want to shift faster, and so i did a search on the vette servo and read and read and read. pretty much i accumulated all i read into these 4 things to ask about. i want to install in hopes of getting faster times. if the servo, and shift kit firms up the shifts, does it also shift faster? i want new gears, but didnt know what ones (ratios) would be best with the other items. also, i just kinda threw in the vette accumulator just because it seemed to have some sort of assissting potential with the others as well. but if it is not needed, then tell me. im sick of my cars slow starts and i NEED to get faster. im workin on hp upgrades, so thats also in the works. i already know what servo to get and also what shift kit, but gears and accumulator, im clueless. any specifis part #'s or where to get them? i dont want to spend more than $500 - 600 so please tell me if all these are accomplishable on such a budget. please help me with my delema.

If you really want to make a difference, than go with a gear change... Find out what you have stock, sounds like you got 3:08's cuz they suck for drag racing if thats the case, go with 3:42 and a zexel torsen limited slip, again if your car is not a y87... you will see the bigger diff with a gear change than w/ a shift kit ect...

For a better off the line start I would go with a new torque convertor with a higher stall than stock. That will help launch better and could be had for about $300. After that I would say gears, transgo shift kit, and corvette servo would be the order that I would (myself will) change.
