Automatic transmission, the 4L60-E electronic unit. Better with or without?

The 1993's don't have the Automatic transmission with the electronic unit. Whats the difference? which is better? the 93 or 94?

-FLOWMASTER 80 series exhaust dual out,K&N air filter. -Bright Rally Red, 1993 Camaro V6 automatic. No BIG mods yet! But who needs alot of mods when you have 160 hp? Not really sure which is 'better'. The '93 4L60 is hydraulic-controlled, whereas the '94+ 4L60E is electronic, as you said. I've read previously that the '93's shift a little firmer, whereas the electronic version tends to be a bit smoother.
