I have a '97 SE 3.8 and of course like any horse beatin car it has seen its better days. So as I go along in my quest to fix these scars it has, I have run into a task of finding a better Torque Converter. This whole week I have been waiting on my 700E Raptor Rebuild. I know the tranny will hold but the transcenter TC's don't have a good name. Any suggs. on who, what, where, and how i can find a better TC.
Yank, PI, Edge, those are some torque converter brands I can think of off the top of my head. Do a search in the drivetrain section, you'll find plenty of material on torque converters.
