This is really confusing me. I installed my SPEC stage II clutch a few months ago. I did the recommended 400 mile break-in, and now that I've put approx. 1200 miles on the clutch I still smell that nasty smell. It only happens when I break the tires loose, and the smell lingers for quite a while afterwards. Starting from a stop driving normally causes it too. If I drive "granny style" for a while it goes away. I know I'm not slipping the clutch with the pedal, but it seems that something in the assembly isn't right. I just can't figure out why I smell that crap. I installed it by the book and used all new parts. Surely after 1200 miles it's broken in, so why am I smelling this crap after I break my tires loose? Hopefully.....well, I shouldn't say "hopefully"....someone has experienced this before. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

It probably is a issue with what gm did to our master cylinder to make them shift smoother it does make it slip a little more than it should, there was a topic about a year ago I belive Dominic started it, what you have to do is drill out a port on your slave cylinder I believe.
