• Additive for Zexel Torsen LSD

Do you guys put this additive in when changing the fluid?

What mileage is it to be changed?

I don't. It's one of those things that'z up to the driver. It's not going to hurt not to use it and it's not going to hurt to use it.

I just added straight Red Line 75w90 diff fluid. They told me that the Torsen design didn't need their additional limited slip additive.

Thanks, I was just wondering because the manual says to add it, but info I've seen stated that it did not need an additional additive.

No need to. Just careful maintenance will be more than sufficient. 20 to 40 thousand miles you want to flush and refill the differential.

"the additive" is to prevent the cluthes from chattering in a "posi" type rear. A stock torsen type has no cluthes, so no additive required.
