  • What kind of gains do you think I could attain with gears?

From previous experience I see gaining roughly 2/10ths going to 3.42s

What if I bumped up to something a little wilder like 3.73s, or 4.10s.

    I currently have 3.23s/5-speed.

    Think I would gain ~7/10ths?

Gains on the 1/4 mile would be better, but you're top speed would suffer, ESPECIALLY with 4:10's...if that matters to you. Damn, those some low gears!

that aint bad at all. do you still have the stock clutch? how is it holding up? do you have an lsd?
and lastly did you do the install yourself? oh and did you get rid of the limiter?

Little G has a Centerforce dual friction clutch, and an Auburn Pro posi diff. The rear was built by a local machine shop, and we installed it ourselves in njspder's driveway.

His speed limiter was removed via his HPTuners software.

As a side note, top speed really isn't affected by 4.10s. 6,000 RPM in 5th gear would be roughly 150 mph, and I don't think many of the cars here even have the power to push it that far.
