  • Picked up an LSD....

on ebay for 120. Now my question is what else will i probably need assuming im only getting the limited slip differential? Im planning on buying 3.73 gears and having a shop install them so is there something they will need to make this work properly.

It was taken off a 1999 Z28 so that is a zexel torson correct?

Buy the gear and also an install kit. If you are planning on drag racing it alot, I would also get the shock collar since you have a manual. Be sure to tell the shop what you plan to do with it so that they can set it up properly.

Never, ever, ever, ever go to a dealership for anything other than warranty work. Mechanics at dealerships are from the bottom of the barrel. Ask around your area to find out what the best garage is. If you have a local forum, check it out and see.

Best thing to do would be to go to the track and ask some of the racers who built their rears, and who they would recommend.
