The other day I was at a stop sign turning left, i pinned it and got it side ways around the corner and ever since the rear end whines ever since. Its not really to loud but noticable. It doesnt start til about 45 mph and doesnt whine when I'm putting power to the wheels just when I let off it starts whining.
I changed the fluid two days ago and its still doing it. Any ideas what part it might be? Is it cheaper to fix or buy a new rear end?

No everything looks fine. I had it up to about 110 and it didnt whine at all. Then it started whining at about 75 down to 35. There is some vibration now at cruising speeds.

Could be your ring and pinion are on their way out. My dad is a gm tech and they see many z28's that blow out our rear ends just by spininem. Wrong spelling I know.
