  • Issues getting servo out

ok, so I installed my transgo shift kit about 3 weeks ago now and I do love it. however the install wasn't complete. First off one of the screen filters on the separator plate was broken and not replaced since it was a sunday night and nothing was opened. Anyhow, also the spring in the servo behind the 2nd piston was not put in for the reason that we couldn't pull out the 2nd half of the 2nd piston. my car is a 2000 and was curious if any others had issues, i read somewhere about GM changing the design of the servo but didn't get the details and can't. anyone help me out with the situation? ordered that lil screen too and it's 10 bucks, for a small piece of plastic - so don't break em. anyways, anyone help me out please? oh and we only used 1 shim cause 2 wouldn't allow the retaining ring to fit.

I barely did it with the tranny out of the car. I'm not even attempting it with the tranny still in there.

me and a friend did mine really no trouble we did it in the car and i have a 2000 model as well my whole servo just well out i think the servo moves more freely when the whole vavle body is off and the car is in neutral.
