3.4 tranny convert to 3.8 tranny

is it possible to swap a 3.4 tranny to the 3.8 tranny whats really the difference?

they both use the 60* v6 bellhousing, there the same trannys, except for 93 automatic

I doubt the bellhousing is the same. 96-02 have removable bellhousings so it's easier to make those fit 96-02 years. I'm still not certain if the electronic hook up is the same.

gears and tranny ar two different things. the gears are located in the rear axle. The tranny connects to the engine. Their would be no reason to switch to a newer year tranny. The electronics are the same and so are the bellhousings.

ohhhhh ok, why is it it that some camaros have higher top speeds than others, mine is 115 and my friends is 140, and another 120

Top speed limiter on V6 is about 118.

You need to do some searching and read alot of old posts. You'll learn alot.
