I was curious, my mechanic told me that our tranny's dont handle all that much torque...so if we Mod our cars like crazy..the load increases on the tranny itself...can we upgrade to a z28 tranny?..i know it would be kinda pricey..but is it possible?...we need a more torque ready tranny i think

The internals of a trans are almost identical with a few revisions done along the way. Only major things are the bellhousing, TC, and maybe electrical connection are different. This post isn't going anywhere so I'm going to lock it.
