Dumb Question, But New Car

Hi, this is probably gonna sound really dumb, but here goes anyway.

I just bought a 1999 Automatic Dark Green (Teal is the real name I think) camaro.
It came with the Monsoon sound system, second-gear-start, and a few other things, but what i'm wondering is how I can tell what the gears are on it.

for the 99 year, was there a set gear ratio on all of them, or would it be different for every few? thanks in advance [img]smile.gif[/img]

if its an auto you either have 3.42s or 3.08s

check the inside drivers door for rpo codes
gu4=3.08
gu6=3.42

and do a search, this topic comes up all the time =)

btw. great looking car. that's pretty much the same setup i'm going for in mine (ss hood, ss spoiler first off, then start with performance mods)

heh, I have the same setup, silver, duals, front grill taken off and such [img]smile.gif[/img] hopefully i can get the hood soon (will cost me 820 everything)
