I would like to get a vette servo for my car. I dont want anything that when your driving normally it jerks you around. This is why I think the vette servo is best. Does anyone have this w/o a torque converter and shift kit? How does it shift when driving normally? And how does it shift when driving hard? Does it chirp the tires?
Thanks
4L60Es are so miscalibrated from the factory, I wouldn't bother with just a servo or just a shift kit. Corvette servo(intermediate servo) will firm up your 1-2 and 2-3 shift by applying more area. I had them side by side in my hand and didn't see that much of a difference. It's not going to hurt anything though. Just beware that it's a huge pain to get it out. I had problems with the tranny out of the car.

It's probably under an hour according to the books. It's just that I did it without special tools. Transmission shops have those tools and it's cake for them. I think a shift kit install along with a servo runs $150 around here. So servo can't be that much.
