I took out my transmission today to install a new spec stage 3 clutch (it's a 98 camaro). The part that the clutch bleeder and hydrolic line feed into broke so I need to replace it. My GM service manual calls this the cluth actuator cylinder. Is that the same thing as the part everyone on here refers to as a slave cylinder? About how much should I expect a replacement to be?
Any help is appreciated
Old Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.
New Car = 2010 3.6l 304hp Camaro
No, they are seperate. This is a slave cylinder. This Is an actuator with the throwout bearing attached, but it gives you an idea what the actuator looks like. It's round and it fits over the trans shaft.

Yes. The 3800 M5, and the LS1, uses an internal slave cylinder.
I'm going to have my new spec stage 2 installed soon, and have decided to get the slave cylinder. I don't see that part number on their website though, I'm taking it, it's an upgraded slave cylinder like the one for the LS1's 98 through 2000.
Please let me know,
