clutch slippage with lots of weight?

Me back [img]smile.gif[/img] Last nite i had 6 people in the car including me (doing "evil" things with waterballoons [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) and my car slipped in first and second like 2 times. i got home and at first i thought it was cause of all the extra weight, but i never had a problem with autos doing it. so i asked my friend thats got a 5 spd 2 door bmw and he said his has done it with lots of people too. Anybody had any experience with this? Im really worried my clutch is going bad, and i cant afford a new one right now. The thing is, is that it acts completly fine with just me in the car. its when i get 2 other people or more plus me in the car that it acts like that. Is it just the extra weight?

Hmm I am having problems with mine slipping right now and it is brand new. How many miles is on yours?

I dont know, i bought the car from a wholesale friend of my dads. Like i said before, the clutch is abseltouly flaweless when its just me or one person, but when the care is noticeably worn down it does it. it only slipped twice in like a 3 hour span, but its enough to get me conserned. Frankly, i cant afford a 100 dollar LSD, let alone a 400 dollar clutch right now with my dad being in the hospital all the time.
