I have been saving my pennies and with next weeks paycheck I will be able to afford rims and I am making sure that 18x9.5 won't having any clearance problems on the front of my firebird. Im going 18x9.5 all the way around but I know it won't be a problem on the back but I am worrying about rubbing on the front. I thinking either 285/35/18 or 295/35/18 as ar as tires go. I need to be sure they will fit before I spend $1200 for rims and $800 for tires.

P285s on 9.5's will work fine - don't go much larger. P275s definetly wont rub, P285s might on occasion but it would be rare. I've seen people put 295's on no problem so you should be fine 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

will 275s fit 9.5" wide rims? I suppose i would get 285s on it anyway as long as it doesn't rub all the time. Somebody on here has to have this wide of rim on the front. I could go 275 on the front and 295s on the back. Then rotating tires would be impossible though.1995 Pontiac Firebird 3.4L
TA front bumper, TA rear bumper, 98-02 Honeycomb tailights, GM Ram Air hood, 2k C5 18X9.5 Corvette rims all the way around, custom autoloc shaved handles, camaro two tone interior, silver badging, clear front marker lenses, RK sport headers, gutted cat, dynomax dual exhaust, Rear disc rearend, Richmond 3.73 gears, Zexel torsen LSD, Cross drilled front rotors, 2 12\" MTX thunder 8000s, Clarion 400W amp, MTX 5 1/4
Components, thunder 4262 amp, pioneer head unit, Hypertech power programmer (Yes it does exist)
