I don't think you'll need the paddle kit. I have auburn and I don't believe I got the paddle kit. Bought the rear and with the gears but when I put the oil in there I didn't notice extra parts.
Thanks for you help, I called SLP and I don't need the paddle kit, but I will have to get the reluctor gear.
As for the tires being too skinny, the current BFGoodrich Drag Radials actually bog my engine when I get a good burnout, so I highly doubt that 4.10s will spin them off the line too much and if they do, I'll have to get wider slicks.

I found a site where you can get gears to match series 2 to series 3 posi or open differentials. For series 2 they have thick gears to make work like a series 3 differential all the way to 4.56 gears if you want, kinda cool.
