  • clutch replacement question

when its time to replace my current stock clutch, im thinking of going with the Spec Stage 3 clutch. but it says that its the perfect clutch to handle a car with a "power-adder." if i plan on modding the intake and exhaust, should i still get the stage 3, or should i just get the stage 2?

What are you future plans other than intake/exhaust? If not the stage 2 would be fine.

Stage 2 would be fine if you don't plan on a power adder. Typically there is only a small difference in price from SPEC distributors between the Stage 2 and the Stage 3 so keep that in mind.

yeah its like a $20 difference. but im wondering if the stage 3 would be "too much" since ill probably get the clutch replaced before i mod the intake/exhaust.

Intake/Exhaust is not what they mean by power adder.

I have the stage 3 in my car. I just got it about a month and a half ago. I love it. Yes it did chatter a lot when first installed, and yes it still chatters a little now. BUT it holds strong, feels great, and isnt hard to drive with.
