in a stock 2002 firebird what is the stock trans? is it a 4L60E or T56 Trans?

T56 never came on V6s.
T5 is the manual, and it was the base trans. 4L60E auto was an option.Matt

Yes, you have a 4L60E.
T56 is the manual tranny on the V8s. ;)Matt
